I’m a wife, a mom, a blogger, a podcaster, a writer, a goal setter, a crafter and I work full-time. Moments of peace are so few and far between that I try to savor them before they run from me. This year, I found tiny moments of peace where I could – early in the morning before sunrise when I get my most productive work done, in the laughter of my hubby and the boys when we spend quality time togetherĀ (and in my own laughter when the hubby cracks me up), nose deep in a good read, knee deep in my creative habits, and in meditation and prayer.
It probably sounds terrible to most peopleĀ that my moments of peace are few and far between but I have had more joy in my life this year than I’ve ever had in my entire life. I’ve learned that when moments of happiness and peace arrive, you have to relish in them. You have to allow yourself to relish in them.
Where did you find peace this year?

Indeed! It does not sound terrible at all that your peaceful moments are few and far between. In fact, the fact that you’re so happy and fulfilled in your life sounds quite the opposite. Thanks for sharing!
Love this post. Simply stated. Well put. I’m not a mom yet, so my to-do list isn’t AS full (can’t imagine what it will be like when I’ve got kids) but I do know exactly what you’re talking about when you say that you have to learn to RELISH the peace when it comes your way.
