I’ve been doing a lot of introspection lately. I have gotten to a point in my life where I no longer want to wait for the perfect moment and the perfect life to make something happen. The fact is, there is no perfect moment. My moment is now, and so is yours.
I’ve decided to participate in 101 Things in 1001 Days to give myself a swift kick in the hiney. I purposely put things on the list that will push my personal limits and lead me to be the woman I want to be. This is a period of growth for me, and I’m totally embracing it.
The first thing I’m completing is the Fat Talk Free Week. This week, I’m not thinking or talking any smack about myself. So far, it’s been pretty liberating.
My full 101 Things List is here.
If you decide to participate in 101 Things in 1001 Days, leave a comment. Not only do I think it’s awesome, convincing someone else to participate is one of my 101 Things. ![]()
For Halloween, I’ve decided to dress up as this gal:
Problem is, I’ve shared my plan with two people now, and those two people don’t remember who Daria is! I have a feeling it will be just like when I dressed up as Debbie Gibson in the 5th grade – no one will get it and I’ll end up saying “I’m Lisa, the punk rock librarian” by the end of the night. Oh, well. I’m going for it…
Last but not least, thank you all that supported me during my run for the Sam-e Blogging Gig! I got over 400 votes total which was about 350 more than I expected. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to catch up with the competition, but I am thankful and grateful for all of your support.
10 days ’til NaNoWriMo!
