Fresh Jam
There’s something really special to me about making jam. I think it’s because hardly anyone does it anymore and not so long ago, it was a part of life. I like getting back to my roots and creating things that were once a necessity. Jellies and jams are one of those things.
I came across some Meyer lemons at the Fresh Market on an impromptu trip and quickly snatched up the last five. Using my own variation of this recipe, the five lemons made enough Meyer Lemon Marmalade for two pints.

Starting to boil…
Starting to jell…
In the jar. Yum!
